Definition: Time & Attendance is the management of clocking information where predefined rules convert the actual raw times when staff clock in and out to final total hours worked whether normal time or overtime, ready for importing to payroll. Example: Employee clocks in at 08h06 and clocks out 18h55 Start T&A Rule is: Shift start at 08h00 with grace time to 08h10 End T&A Rule is: Shift ends at 17h00 with grace time from 16h50 and overtime if clocked out after 18h00 at a rate of 1.5 The FINAL time that T&A now export to payroll is: Started at 08h00 End at 18h55 8 hours normal time + (01h55 x 1.5) overtime = 10h53 Total time to payroll for the shift Unique Features:
