BegetBio gives you complete access control 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 12 months of the year, regardless of whether your site consists of one or many buildings. BegetBio lets you control any type of access area: doors, elevators, parking lots or garage access. It can further be setup to let you monitor building maintenance systems and integrate with closed-circuit television systems.

How it works

Based on biometric technology, the terminal provides verification or identification of an individual employee using the unique ridge pattern of a finger.
When a finger is enrolled, the sensor sees an electronic image of a finger.
From this image, a mathematical algorithm extracts information based on the curvature and height of the ridges of a finger.
It is important to note that only a small fraction of the information is actually used, most of the data, which represents a finger, is not used or stored.
This information is then encrypted, compressed and saved as a template.

More benefits
The prime purpose of an access control system is to regulate and monitor access at each door. From 24 hour access, to no access, you set specific conditions that apply for each individual at every door. Here are some examples:

Only allow office employees to enter a room after 8:00 a.m
Allow factory employees to enter via a side door after 7:00 a.m and/or only if a supervisor has arrived.
Set the lobby door to automatically unlock from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. allowing visitors unrestricted access to the reception area.
In the event that staff is delayed by bad weather or an emergency Beget's 'First Person In' feature keeps doors locked until an authorized individual has arrived to unlock the door.
